An educator-researcher from the Patronage of Mary Development School (PMDS) in Cebu made a significant impact at the prestigious Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) conference held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
The event, co-sponsored by leading organizations such as the British Columbia Council for International Education, the Canadian Bureau for International Education, and Colleges and Institutes Canada, focused on leadership and management in higher education.
Dr. Gianne Rensen Verano Antonio presented his research on the role of social media in education, captivating international experts with his insights and recommendations for integrating digital platforms into classroom settings.
“Social media has revolutionized education, but it’s crucial to address both its benefits and challenges,” he said in a statemtn.
“I aimed to provide practical strategies for education leaders seeking to enhance its use effectively.”
