Jasmin Bungay, a former OFW in Dubai, is off to Albania to represent the Philippines in the prestigious Miss Globe 2024 pageant. She looked radiant in a red outfit, proudly waving the Philippine flag at the airport as she embarked on her journey.
Binibining Pilipinas shared their excitement on social media, posting, “She’s off and ready to conquer the globe!” Bungay is vying to win the Philippines’ third Miss Globe crown, following the successes of Maureen Montagne in 2021 and Ann Lorraine Colis in 2015. Last year’s delegate, Anna Lakrini, placed as second runner-up.
Bungay’s journey from a logistics career in Dubai to the world of pageantry highlights her dedication to fulfilling a childhood dream. She hopes to inspire her fellow OFWs and bring their stories to the global stage. The Miss Globe 2024 coronation night is set for October 15.
