Mark Andrew Yulo, father of double Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, was among the thousands of proud supporters who gathered in Manila on Wednesday to celebrate the country’s 2024 Paris Olympics athletes. Mark Andrew was spotted energetically waving a banner reading “Caloy, dito Papa mo!” as he cheered for his son, whose stellar performance contributed to the Philippines’ most successful Olympic run in a century.
The parade, featuring several of the nation’s top athletes, including bronze medalists Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas, concluded at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila, where a celebratory program was held. Carlos Yulo, who returned to the Philippines on Tuesday night, has been busy with a series of events, including a courtesy call at Malacañang Palace and a visit to his condominium in Taguig.
