A man in Talisay, Batangas, is mourning the loss of his wife and five children after a landslide hit their home on October 24, 2024.
According to a News5 report, Reynaldo Dejucos found his family buried under debris the following morning, October 25, with his wife and children still embracing each other.
The landslide, triggered by heavy rains from Severe Tropical Storm Kristine, resulted in the deaths of 18 people in Barangay Sampaloc.
Rescue teams continue to search for missing individuals, while Reynaldo, now left alone, faces the heartbreaking reality of losing his entire family in the tragedy.
