A father was arrested in Pasig City after firing a gun during a confrontation with men who allegedly attacked his son during a basketball game, 24 Oras reported.
CCTV footage showed the suspect trying to grab one of the men before getting pushed, punched, and hit with a helmet. In response, he pulled out a gun and fired before fleeing on a motorcycle.
Authorities arrested him within 24 hours. He claimed he acted to protect his son and said he would also file charges against those involved in the attack.
