Extended park hours announced in Dubai ahead of New Year 2026

As preparations intensify across the city for New Year’s Eve 2026, residents planning outdoor gatherings will have extended access to public spaces following a holiday schedule released by Dubai Municipality.

The city is set to welcome the new year with a mix of fireworks and drone displays at multiple attractions, prompting authorities to adjust operating hours at parks and recreational venues on December 31, 2025 and January 1, 2026 to accommodate large crowds and late-night activities.

Several major green spaces will remain open well past their usual closing times. Al Safa Park and Zabeel Park will operate from 8 a.m. until 1 a.m., while Creek Park and Mushrif National Park will welcome visitors from 8 a.m. to midnight.
