Exclusive OFW immigration counter now open at NAIA Terminal 3

In a move aimed at easing congestion and enhancing services for Overseas Filipino Workers, a dedicated immigration counter has officially opened at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

Strategically positioned beside the OFW Lounge, the newly launched counter is part of the Manila International Airport Authority’s (MIAA) efforts to streamline departures. The initiative began under MIAA’s supervision before operations were handed over to New NAIA Infra Corporation (NNIC).

The new area includes six immigration counters designed exclusively for OFWs. Three are currently active, while the other three are being prepared. To boost efficiency, 25 additional immigration officers have been assigned to man the new posts.

A help desk from the Department of Migrant Workers is also on-site to assist with urgent concerns, including Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) inquiries.

Meanwhile, the adjacent OFW Lounge—launched in July 2024 and operated by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration—continues to serve modern comforts such as free meals, Wi-Fi, charging ports, and support desks.
