A former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Dubai chose to celebrate her 31st birthday in a unique and heartwarming way.
Tessa Gervacio known for her roles as a fashion model, brand ambassador, and event host, organized an outreach program for the Aeta community in Zambales.
She personally prepared loot bags and purchased flip-flops for the community members.
In a touching Facebook post, Tessa expressed her gratitude and joy for the celebration, stating, “I’m so grateful and blessed to have this amazing birthday celebration with the Aeta community at Zambales. I planned this outreach program to share my blessings and make them happy.”
She further shared her heartfelt emotions, “Pero bat ganun, ako ang pinasaya nyo ng sobra sobra!! Nakaka taba ng puso yung sayang nakita ko sa mata nyo.🥹”
Tessa’s initiative highlighted the joy of simple acts of kindness, as she mentioned, “Simpleng bagay masaya na sila, Let’s help them by sharing our blessings. Hindi kailangan ng bagong gamit kahit mga lumang damit masaya na sila at sobrang pasasalamat na nila.”
Her message underscored the value of giving, quoting the famous adage, “It’s better to give than to receive”.
