Abu Dhabi International Airport is celebrating the launch of its new Terminal A by offering free city check-in services for some passengers. Morafiq Aviation Services, the operator of these services, announced that passengers flying with Etihad Airways would benefit from this complimentary offer.
The city check-in facilities are available at two locations: the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, operating 24/7, and the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, open from 9 am to 9 pm. This initiative, a collaboration between Abu Dhabi Airports, Capital Travel, Etihad Airport Services, OACIS Middle East, and Tourism 365, aims to enhance passenger convenience.
Passengers utilizing this service can check in their baggage in the city, allowing them to explore Terminal A’s state-of-the-art features stress-free. These include advanced biometric technology for efficient screening and boarding and a vast 35,000sqm area dedicated to retail and food & beverage outlets.
This free service is available to Etihad Airways passengers until December 14. Additionally, spacious and free parking is provided at the city check-in locations, which also cater to passengers flying with Air Arabia, Wizz Air, and Egypt Air. Regular check-in fees are Dh35 for adults, Dh25 for children, and Dh15 for infants, with baggage to be deposited 4 to 24 hours before flight departure.
