ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo and former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III emerged as the frontrunners in the latest Pulse Asia survey for the 2025 senatorial elections.
The survey, conducted from November 26 to December 3, 2024, revealed that 14 candidates have a statistical chance of securing one of the 12 Senate seats at stake in May 2025.
Tulfo topped the list with a 62.2% voter preference, followed closely by Sotto at 59.2%. Senator Christopher “Bong” Go (54.7%) and broadcaster Ben Tulfo (52.7%) ranked third and fourth, respectively.
Senator Pia Cayetano (46.5%) and former Senator Manny Pacquiao (45%) were projected to place between fifth and ninth. Former Senator Panfilo Lacson (44.1%), TV host Willie Revillame (43.6%), and Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. (43.5%) also landed in the top 10.
Makati City Mayor Abby Binay garnered 40.1%, placing her between seventh and 14th. Senators Lito Lapid (39.2%), Imee Marcos (37.5%), Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (36.9%), and Representative Camille Villar (36.5%) rounded out the list of potential winners.
Pulse Asia conducted face-to-face interviews with 2,400 respondents for the survey, marking its first non-commissioned poll since the October filing of candidacies.
