Actor Eric Fructuoso confirmed that he had a relationship with actress and TV host Toni Gonzaga, lasting for almost three years. This disclosure came during his appearance on the GMA morning talk show “Sarap ‘Di Ba?” hosted by Carmina Villarroel on November 11.
Responding to Villarroel’s inquiry about his past relationship with Gonzaga, Fructuoso admitted to dating her following his relationship with actress Claudine Barretto. When pressed about the duration of their relationship, he estimated it to be about three years, including periods of casual and committed dating.
Fructuoso emphasized that he is not a “chick-boy” and approaches relationships with sincerity. He humorously noted that his past relationships typically ended when his partners “woke up and realized the truth.”
Toni Gonzaga, now married to director Paul Soriano, has not yet made any public statements regarding Fructuoso’s revelation.
