Emirati racers to represent UAE at 6H of Abu Dhabi and Formula Championship

Emirati racers Saif Al Ameri, Fahad Al Zaabi, and Salem Alketbi are set to showcase their talents as they represent the UAE at the 6H of Abu Dhabi, happening this weekend at Yas Marina Circuit from January 18-19, 2025. The endurance racing event promises to deliver high-octane action and a display of grit, speed, and resilience.

Rabdan Motorsport, the team featuring the three Emirati racers, will compete in the Porsche 992 Amateur class, marking a significant milestone as the only team with an all-Emirati lineup. They will be joined by Austrian semi-pro racer Christopher Zöchling to further bolster their chances. Following a strong P3 podium finish at the 24H of Dubai, the team is aiming to continue their impressive performance in the Middle East Trophy series.

Saif Al Ameri expressed his excitement, stating, “Racing at Yas Marina Circuit and representing the UAE in such a prestigious international event is an incredible honor. Our podium finish in Dubai was just the beginning, and we are determined to deliver another stellar performance.”

The weekend also marks the second round of the Yas Racing Series, featuring a packed schedule of five racing events, including the Formula Regional Middle East, Formula 4 Middle East, Clio Cup, and Gulf Radical Cup. Motorsports enthusiasts can enjoy additional attractions, including a Pit Lane Walk and a close-up view of team garages in action.

With over 50 entrants in the endurance race and 142 cars lining up for multiple racing categories, the Yas Marina Circuit is set to offer a weekend filled with non-stop action. Admission is free, and fans can register for their passes on the Yas Marina Circuit website.
