An Emirati man tragically lost his life on Tuesday after his car was swept away in a wadi in Ras Al Khaimah, as confirmed by the emirate’s police.
The 40-year-old was attempting to enter Wadi Isfni with his vehicle, located in the southern regions of the emirate, when the incident occurred.
Heavy rainfall across the country caused an increase in the water level within the valley, resulting in flooding.
The authorities have cautioned the public against venturing into such areas and flowing valleys during hazardous rainy weather.
