A 27-year-old Emirati man succumbed to his injuries after being stabbed multiple times during a fight in Sharjah’s Al Siyouh area, police reported.
According to a Khaleej Times report, authorities received a report at 12:40 am about the incident and promptly dispatched their emergency team. The victim, found with three stab wounds to his leg, was rushed to the hospital but later died due to severe injuries.
Initial investigations revealed that the altercation involved two brothers in their 30s, who fled the scene before police arrived. Within 12 hours, Sharjah Police successfully identified and arrested the suspects.
During interrogation, one of the brothers confessed to stabbing the victim with a sharp object during the dispute. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation.
Sharjah Police reminded residents to resolve conflicts through peaceful and legal means and to report disputes or suspicious activities to maintain community safety.
