Emirates Airline has announced a significant expansion plan, with the recruitment of 5,000 additional cabin crew members to staff its new Airbus A350s fleet.
This initiative is targeted towards fresh graduates, individuals with some experience in hospitality or customer service, and those eager to start a career in global travel.
In a Gulf News report, citing a statement, Emirates emphasized the unique opportunity for new recruits to join the world’s largest international airline, renowned for its exceptional service standards. New cabin crew members will gain invaluable hospitality skills, travel across more than 140 cities in 76 countries, and enjoy the comprehensive benefits of working with Emirates.
The recruitment process in 2024 will span over 460 cities globally, reflecting the airline’s diverse network and cabin crew team. This follows Emirates’ successful hiring of 8,000 cabin crew members in 2023, with the airline’s crew strength surpassing 20,000.
In line with its fleet and network expansion, Emirates is set to begin receiving its new A350s mid-year, alongside Boeing 777-Xs from 2025. The airline has an impressive order book of 65 A350s and a mix of 205 Boeing 777-9s and 777-8s.
New cabin crew recruits will undergo an eight-week training program in Dubai, focusing on teamwork, mental resilience, hospitality, and representing Emirates’ brand.
