Dubai-based airline Emirates revealed plans to increase its flight operations to Seoul, South Korea. Beginning February 19, 2024, the airline will add three additional flights each week, significantly boosting travel options to one of East Asia’s most sought-after destinations.
These new flights, scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, will be operated using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Flight EK324 is set to depart from Dubai at 4.45 am, arriving at Seoul Incheon International Airport at 6.05 pm. The return journey, EK325, will leave Seoul at 10 pm and reach Dubai at 1.35 am the next day.
This expansion means over 1,000 extra seats will be available each week on the Dubai-Seoul route. This increase is a strategic move to meet the growing demand for international travel to South Korea and to bolster both inbound and outbound tourism for the country.
Emirates first started flying to Seoul in 2005 and currently offers a daily Airbus A380 service from Dubai. With the addition of these new flights, the airline will provide 10 weekly flights to Seoul, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing connectivity and travel convenience for its passengers.
