Emirates Airlines has unveiled a convenient pre-approved visa-on-arrival service for Indian passport holders who have made flight reservations with the airline. This new initiative, facilitated by the Dubai Visa Processing Centre (DVPC), grants travelers a 14-day single entry visa, streamlining their arrival experience in Dubai and allowing them to bypass lengthy queues at immigration.
The service is exclusively accessible to Indian passport holders who possess a valid six-month visa for the United States, a US Green Card, EU Residency, or UK Residency. However, it’s crucial to note that the issuance of visas is subject to the “absolute discretion of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs,” as clarified by Emirates.
To avail themselves of this convenient service, customers can access their bookings through the ‘Manage an existing booking’ feature on Emirates’ digital platforms and click on the ‘Apply for a UAE visa’ link. This will redirect them to the online UAE Visa application site powered by VFS Global Services, where all the necessary requirements, terms, and conditions for the visa application process are outlined.
