Eminem released his latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” on Friday, featuring a collaboration with Filipino-American rapper Ez Mil. The song, titled “Head Honcho,” highlights Eminem’s dominance in the rap scene, with Ez Mil opening the track with two verses and singing the first chorus. Notably, Ez Mil includes a diss verse in Tagalog.
This album marks Eminem’s 12th studio release and is a concept album intended to be listened to in sequence. His previous release was “The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (Expanded Edition)” in 2023, celebrating the 10th anniversary of its original release.
Ez Mil, born Ezekiel Miller in Olongapo and now based in Las Vegas, signed with Eminem and Dr. Dre’s labels—Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records—in 2023. Eminem discovered Ez Mil’s music and brought it to Dr. Dre before signing him. That year, Ez Mil released “DU4LI7Y: REDUX” under these labels.
The two rappers previously collaborated on the track “Realest,” which marked Ez Mil’s debut on the Billboard charts. Ez Mil first gained fame in 2021 with his viral hit “Panalo (Trap Carinosa)” and was previously signed with Virgin Music.
