The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines located in Abu Dhabi has released an advisory notice regarding its scheduled closures in observance of upcoming Philippine holidays.
According to the advisory, the embassy will be closed to the public on the following dates: 28 March 2024 for Maundy Thursday, 29 March 2024 for Good Friday, and 9 April 2024 for the Day of Valor, also known locally as Araw ng Kagitingan. These closures are in accordance with Proclamation No. 368 s. 2023, which outlines the official holidays in the Philippines for the year 2024.
However, the embassy also announced that it will remain open for consular services on 23 March 2024, a Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., allowing for limited hours of operation for those in need of consular assistance.
