Emaar Properties unveiled its new Dh55-billion project, The Heights Country Club & Wellness, on Tuesday, reported by Khaleej Times. Spanning over 81 million square feet and located just 10 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport, the expansive development is designed to offer more than just luxury living with its townhouses, semi-attached villas, and a comprehensive wellness centre.
The community is set to feature an array of health and leisure facilities, including parks, ponds, lush greenways, and a country club. It will also boast extensive cycling and jogging tracks, expansive parks, and numerous event plazas spread across 1.3 million square metres of open space.
Additional infrastructure will include schools, hospitals, mosques, and a large retail space, providing a variety of upscale shopping and dining options. Mohamed Alabbar, founder of Emaar Properties, emphasized that the project aims to provide a holistic lifestyle that enhances both physical and mental health.
This initiative comes as developers increasingly focus on Dubai South, especially with the upcoming relocation of Dubai International (DXB) to Al Maktoum International Airport, which is expected to become the world’s largest airport with a capacity to handle 260 million passengers annually.
Emaar Properties, a leading global real estate company, has developed over 109,000 residential units across Dubai and other international markets since 2002.
