The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Sharjah has announced an increase in the number of inter-city buses to accommodate the expected surge in passengers during the Eid Al Adha holidays. A total of 121 buses will be operational, making 4,800 journeys from Saturday, June 15 to Monday, June 18.
The enhanced service will commence at 3:45 AM and continue until 12:30 AM, with buses running every 10 minutes during peak times. Additionally, route No. 203, which connects Sharjah to Oman, will have departures at 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
This comes as public sector employees in Sharjah enjoy a 5-day holiday, thanks to their 4-day workweek.
