Dubai is set to host British indie singer Ed Sheeran for his highly anticipated “+– = ÷ x Mathematics Tour,” with two open-air concerts scheduled for January 2024 at The Sevens Stadium. The gigs promise an innovative 360-degree performance style that places fans around the artist, offering a uniquely immersive experience.
Sheeran’s Dubai appearances are slated for Friday, January 19, and Saturday, January 20, and are expected to be the city’s largest open-air concerts to date. Anticipation is already high, with fans eager to secure their tickets after the artist’s previously sold-out show in 2017.
Supporting Sheeran will be the notable Calum Scott, a former “Britain’s Got Talent” star known for his emotive cover of “Dancing on My Own.” Fans will be treated to hits from Sheeran’s extensive discography, including tracks from his two albums released in 2023.
Ticket registration is now open at edsheerandxb.com, with a pre-sale set to begin at 10am on November 9 for those registered. General ticket sales will follow on November 10 from 10am. Given the star’s massive following, tickets are expected to be in high demand.
Sheeran’s Dubai events, only the second stop on his 2024 tour, means local fans will be among the first globally to witness the new shows live. The tour will encompass 24 shows, culminating in Cyprus in September 2024.
