Global superstar Ed Sheeran is set to headline the new Off Limits music festival at Etihad Park, Abu Dhabi, on April 26, 2025. The event will feature more than 20 artists performing across two stages, with the remaining acts to be announced in the coming months, The National reported.
Pre-registration for tickets begins Wednesday on Platinumlist, followed by pre-sale on Thursday, and general sale opening Friday at 11 am.
According to Sia Farr, founder of event organizers Theory Eleven, the festival will adopt an “open format” model, showcasing a mix of genres including pop, electronic, and hip-hop, while also featuring regional talent.
The 12-hour festival will begin at 2 pm, with Sheeran delivering a full-length two-hour concert set—an unusual feature for a festival setting. Additional acts will continue to perform late into the night. The stages will be designed by renowned German designer Florian Wieder, known for his work on Adele’s summer residency in Munich.
Off Limits is organized in collaboration with DCT Abu Dhabi and is part of the emirate’s broader strategy to establish itself as a cultural and entertainment hub. Farr emphasized the economic and tourism benefits such large-scale festivals bring, noting how they align with global trends in destination-driven events.
