Former President Rodrigo Duterte’s residence in Davao City is now up for sale, his partner Honeylet Avanceña confirmed in an interview on DZRH.
Avanceña shared that the decision to sell the property was driven by personal grief and discomfort tied to past events. “Masakit sa dibdib ko every time I go inside. Ako na lang ang pumapasok diyan. May apat na katulong pero walang amo,” she said, revealing that the home has felt empty since it was vacated.
She added that the family abandoned the house following security concerns raised by legal advisers. “We abandoned it after what happened. I cannot sleep there anymore because the lawyers asked us to install CCTV — even inside the bedroom,” Avanceña disclosed.
The former First Family has yet to announce any further details regarding the sale or potential buyers.
