Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a special initiative to provide two hours of free parking during iftar, the fast-breaking evening meal observed during Ramadan.
According to RTA, parking fees will be applicable from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday, and from 8 PM to midnight. This means car owners will enjoy free parking during iftar from 6 PM to 8 PM on weekdays and Sundays.
In the TECOM area parking zone (F), tariffs will only be enforced from 8 AM to 6 PM, granting residents free parking until 8 AM the next day.
However, it’s important to note that multi-level parking lots will continue to have fees applied throughout the day and night during this Holy Month.
