Dubai’s Jumeirah Village Circle to cut traffic delays by 70% through major road upgrades

Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) is set to benefit from four new access points as part of a major Dh6 billion agreement between Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Dubai Holding aimed at improving traffic flow and road infrastructure across the emirate.

The upgrades in JVC will include grade-separated interchanges designed to double the area’s entry and exit capacity. Once completed, travel times on internal roads and access points are expected to drop by up to 70%, while also improving traffic safety and easing congestion.

The project is part of a larger initiative to enhance key communities in Dubai, which also covers areas like Dubai Production City, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, and International City (Phase 3). The improvements will involve constructing new bridges, expanding roads, and upgrading intersections to streamline traffic and boost safety.

For JVC residents and visitors, these new access points promise quicker, smoother journeys and a significant reduction in travel delays.
