Global Village, Dubai’s renowned multicultural park, has added another feather to its cap by unveiling a colossal falcon sculpture, which has been recognized as the world’s largest illuminated steel sculpture of a bird by Guinness World Records.
Standing at an impressive eight meters, with a wingspan exceeding 22 meters, this steel marvel weighs around 8,000kg. It is adorned with 50,000 lights, making it a breathtaking sight, especially at night. The sculpture, a tribute to the UAE’s national bird, has quickly become a favorite spot for Instagram users.
This remarkable art piece is part of the park’s new attraction, Mini World, which features 25 miniature replicas of famous landmarks from across the globe, including the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Burj Khalifa, and the Statue of Liberty.
Global Village, now in its 28th season, opened its doors on October 18 and will welcome visitors until April 28. In 2023, it was named the most visited attraction in the region by YouGov, drawing a record-breaking 9 million visitors.
