Dubai’s Global Village set to reopen earlier than expected

Global Village, known as Dubai’s top budget-friendly attraction, is gearing up to welcome visitors for its 28th season. The anticipated reopening date is now set for Wednesday, October 18, a week earlier than the traditional end-of-October launch.

Closed for the summer, this vibrant open-air destination has generated excitement among locals and tourists alike who are eager to learn about the offerings for the new season.

Upon purchasing a ticket, attendees will gain access to 27 unique country pavilions, an authentic Emirati heritage space, and the mesmerizing Road of Asia. That’s not the end of the excitement. Guests will be treated to live shows, a kids’ theatre, and spectacular fireworks displays on Fridays and Saturdays.

Among the many attractions, visitors can explore the Carnaval Zone, which boasts 170 rides, games, and attractions. Fans of oddities will enjoy Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!, which features a blend of visual illusions, pop culture memorabilia, and unusual artefacts. The Snowfest Ice Rink, Ripley’s Marvelous Mirror Maze, Ripley’s Moving Theater 4D experience, and The House of Fear attraction add to the eclectic mix of entertainment options.

While the park opens its doors at 4 pm and remains operational until midnight, Tuesdays are specially designated for ladies and families, with the exception of official public holidays.

With the early reopening date, it’s expected that there may be some fresh and intriguing additions to this season. As always, Global Village promises an amalgamation of cultures, entertainment, and unique experiences.
