Dubai’s Al Mamzar Corniche Beach, a dedicated public beach for women featuring night swimming, a sports club, and recreational facilities, is set for completion by the end of 2025 at an estimated cost of AED 400 million.
The Dubai Municipality has awarded the contract for the second phase of the Al Mamzar Beach Development Project, which will transform the beachfront with cycling and running tracks, children’s play areas, and smart technology features.
Spanning 125,000 square metres with a width of 80 metres, the project will include a 5,000-square-metre event space, a 2,000-square-metre skateboarding area, and green spaces designed to blend beach and park landscapes. A pedestrian pontoon bridge will connect both sides of the creek, ensuring accessibility.
Advanced features such as AI-powered surveillance, drowning detection systems, and smart lockers will enhance safety and convenience. The development aligns with Dubai’s long-term economic and tourism goals under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Currently, the first phase of the project is 45% complete, with full completion expected by the end of the year.
