Dubai is poised to break another world record with the construction of the tallest residential clock tower, a joint venture between London Gate, a leading UAE real estate developer, and Franck Muller, the renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker. The announcement was made on Thursday, highlighting this unique collaboration.
This project, set to be located in the Dubai Marina, will reach a staggering height of 450 meters, making it not only the world’s tallest residential clock tower but also the tallest branded residential tower. This marks Franck Muller’s first foray into real estate, building on their three-decade legacy in the horology industry.
Eman Taha, CEO of London Gate, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it aims to deliver a living experience embodying the values and vision of both companies. This development follows the successful launch of their previous projects in the UAE, including the sold-out Maya V, Nadine I and II.
Named ‘Aeternitas’, after Franck Muller’s complex watch featuring 36 complications and 1,483 components, the tower embodies the essence of the luxury watch brand. Erol Baliyan, Franck Muller’s managing director, emphasized the significance of this venture as their first real estate collaboration, which aligns with the company’s strategy to extend its brand excellence into the realm of real estate, particularly in a dynamic city like Dubai.
Scheduled to be officially unveiled in January 2024, with a planned handover to residents in 2026, this luxury residential project promises to be a blend of exquisite design and unparalleled luxury, setting a new benchmark in the world of branded residences.
