A groundbreaking project will see the construction of a floating bridge connecting the two sides of Al Mamzar Beach in Dubai, as announced on Monday, June 3. This 200-metre-long pedestrian bridge will be the first of its kind in the city, reports Khaleej Times.
Additionally, Deira will soon boast its first night beach, open 24/7, providing residents and visitors with round-the-clock beach access.
The urban planning committee in Dubai has awarded contracts to develop Al Mamzar and Jumeirah 1 beaches, with a total investment of Dh355 million. The project will enhance a 4.3km stretch of Al Mamzar Beach and a 1.4km stretch in Jumeirah 1. The developments are slated for completion within 18 months.
