Dubai is just days away from hosting one of its most historic sporting events as the EuroLeague 2025/26 season officially tips off at the Coca-Cola Arena on Tuesday, September 30.
For the first time, the city will see its own homegrown professional team, Dubai Basketball, compete on Europe’s biggest basketball stage. Their debut match against Serbian powerhouse Partizan will mark not only the start of their EuroLeague journey but also Dubai’s entry into the ranks of basketball’s global elite.
The night will open with a ceremony at 7:45 PM, followed by tip-off at 8:00 PM. Fans who have secured tickets will witness a clash between Dubai’s new franchise and one of Europe’s most storied clubs.
The EuroLeague, considered among the toughest basketball competitions worldwide, features legendary teams such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Fenerbahçe. Dubai Basketball now stands alongside these giants in what many see as a groundbreaking moment for the region’s sports scene.
Tickets for the season opener start at AED 75, while season passes give access to more than 31 home games, including playoff rounds. Sales are moving quickly as excitement builds for what is being described as a landmark event in Dubai’s sporting history.
