Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) has bolstered its transportation offerings with the acquisition of 94 new license plates in the latest Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) auction. This addition brings the total number of taxis added to DTC’s service in 2024 to 445, reinforcing its status as Dubai’s leading transport operator.
The strategic move is poised to increase the company’s market share to 46 percent, underlining its robust financial health and capacity for further growth and acquisition. With a fleet now totaling 5,660 vehicles, DTC is committed to enhancing its operational and strategic initiatives.
Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, expressed confidence that the expansion will drive sustainable growth across operational and investment spheres. This significant increase from 5,216 vehicles in 2023 to 5,660 in 2024 is expected to bolster the company’s total revenues, further solidifying its position in the Dubai Financial Market.
Al Falasi highlighted the expansion’s alignment with the company’s mission to advance Dubai’s transportation sector. By accommodating the growing demand for daily trips, DTC aims to contribute to the overall enhancement of the emirate’s transport infrastructure.
