A student from Omar Bin Al Khattab School was honored by the Al Qusais Police Station for his honesty. Ahmad Saleh Ali Muhammad received special recognition after he returned a lost wallet containing a significant amount of money to its owner. The wallet was found in the Al Muhaisnah 4 area.
Colonel Jamal Ibrahim Ali, Deputy Director of Al Qusais Police Station, led the ceremony, which took place in the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Abdulaziz Al Khaja, Head of the Administrative Affairs Department, Lieutenant Dana Al Muhairi from the Customer Happiness Department, and school principal Huda Yusuf, alongside other teaching staff.
Colonel Jamal Ibrahim highlighted that this act of honoring falls under the “We Reach You to Thank You” initiative, which aims to recognize external collaborators and partners at their locations and among their peers. He lauded Ahmad’s exemplary honesty and encouraged community members to follow his example.
Ahmad’s mother expressed her pride in her son and gratitude towards the Dubai Police for acknowledging his good deed at the school. She noted that Ahmad was fulfilling his duty by turning in the wallet to ensure its return to the rightful owner.
Ahmad, visibly moved, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Dubai Police. He emphasized that this recognition is a proud moment for him among his classmates, serving as a reminder of the importance of honesty and integrity.
