Dubai Police have closed four printing presses involved in producing illegal massage cards, warning that anyone connected to these operations could face legal action.
Authorities released images of the arrested staff and cautioned the public against contacting the numbers on these cards, as doing so could lead to risks such as theft or extortion.
According to a Khaleej Times report, a dedicated team from the General Department of Criminal Investigation has been set up to handle reports related to the distribution of these illegal materials. Dubai Police emphasized their commitment to safeguarding the community and commended residents for their role in reporting such activities.
These illicit massage cards, often featuring obscene images, promote unlicensed services across the city. Authorities urged the public to report any instances of their distribution by calling the toll-free number 901 or using the ‘Police Eye’ feature on the Dubai Police app.
“This initiative aims to eliminate illegal activities that threaten public safety and security,” Dubai Police stated.
