The much-awaited Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is set to make a grand comeback starting December 8, as announced by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment on Wednesday, October 4. This year’s festivities, marking the 29th edition, will extend till January 14, 2024.
Shoppers can look forward to attractive discounts at participating malls. The organizers promise an “exceptional season of bigger, better, and out-of-this-world experiences and entertainment for everyone.”
Highlighting the entertainment line-up, acclaimed singers Ahlam Alshamsi and Assala Nasri will captivate audiences with a special live performance at the Coca-Cola Arena on December 15. Ahlam, known for hits like “Tadry Lesh Aza’al Alek” and “Ahtajak Ana”, and Assala, famous for “Ya Magnoun” and “Samihtak Kiteer”, have both been faces of popular reality shows such as Saudi Idol, The Voice, and Arabs Got Talent. Another major attraction this year is the lifestyle and street-culture festival, Sole DXB. Celebrating 50 years of Hip Hop, this festival is joining DSF for the very first time. From December 8 to 10, the Dubai Design District will come alive with Sole DXB’s live music from global and regional artists, basketball games, insightful talks, exclusive shopping opportunities, and eclectic art installations.
Additionally, the DSF lineup includes the Earthsoul Fest for those with an eco-friendly mindset. Comedy enthusiasts can also anticipate side-splitting shows by top-tier comedians. An array of concerts will feature renowned artists such as Kazim Al Saher, Omar Khairat, Najwa Karam, George Wassouf, and Majid Al Mohandis. More exciting details are expected to be released soon.
