The renowned Dubai Safari Park is gearing up for a new season, announcing its reopening on October 5 for the 2023-24 season. Those eager to be part of the experience can secure their bookings through the park’s official website.
The season’s standout features include the ‘bird kingdom’ show, the Asian Village exhibit showcasing some of the globe’s most intriguing creatures, and an enthralling bird of prey demonstration.
Spanning 119 hectares, the park is a sanctuary for over 3,000 animals, comprising 78 species of mammals such as carnivores and primates, 50 varieties of reptiles, 111 species of birds, and an array of amphibians and invertebrates. Designed to replicate natural habitats, the park provides visitors with an authentic experience of observing wildlife. It remains closed during the peak summer months.
Last year, the Dubai Municipality-backed park drew a crowd of over half a million enthusiasts.
Visitors have the luxury of exploring the park’s five distinct sections: African Village, Asian Village, Arabian Desert Safari, Explorer Village, and the Valley. Tickets are priced between Dh50 and Dh110 per adult, offering both day passes and safari journeys.
For those seeking a premium experience, the park is introducing special packages:
- King of Safari: A guided tour revealing in-depth insights into the diverse animal inhabitants.
- Behind the Scenes: A 90-minute intimate session revealing the day-to-day animal care rituals.
- Jungle Capture: A three-hour exclusive photographic journey within the park.
- Dine in the Wild: A culinary experience nestled in the park’s serene setting.
Moreover, one can engage in feeding sessions with the park’s giraffes and rhinos.
Ahmed Al Zarooni, director of the Department of Public Parks and Recreational Facilities at Dubai Municipality, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, emphasizing the park’s dedication to both entertainment and education. He remarked, “Visitors will have a firsthand look at our commitment to ensuring the well-being of the park’s inhabitants, maintaining their ideal living conditions in line with the highest health standards.”
The park awaits both returning and new visitors to explore its wonders in the coming season.
