Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is gearing up to launch an exciting initiative that will transform the Burjuman Metro Station into a dynamic workspace. Named ‘WO-RK,’ the co-working space, in collaboration with The Co-Spaces, aims to provide commuters with accessible, affordable, and inspiring work environments right within the station premises.
Scheduled for a trial run between April 1 and June 30, the project reflects RTA’s commitment to enhancing Dubai’s urban landscape in line with the Dubai Urban Plan 2040. Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director of Commercial and Investment at RTA, expressed pride in the initiative, highlighting its contribution to Dubai’s strategic goals.
The partnership with The Co-Spaces marks a significant step in providing innovative work solutions and fostering a vibrant work culture. Shahzad Bhatti, the founder of The Co-Spaces, emphasized the collaboration’s focus on convenience, flexibility, and community engagement, shaping the future of workspaces.
In addition to providing a conducive work environment, WO-RK will offer essential business support services, simplifying processes such as obtaining mainland licenses, Ejari, and business addresses. Moreover, the co-working space will host educational and mentorship programs, adding value to the professional development of its users.
