Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled four new dedicated bus routes for visitors heading to Global Village for its 2023-24 season. These services are set to commence on October 18, coinciding with the opening of Global Village’s 28th season.
The details of the routes are as follows:
- Route 102 will depart from Rashidiya bus station every hour.
- Route 103 is available from Al Ittihad bus station every 40 minutes.
- Route 104 will run from Al Ghubaiba bus station every hour.
- Route 106 departs from the Mall of the Emirates bus station hourly.
A single trip fare to Global Village is priced at Dh10, with RTA providing deluxe coaches for these routes.
In addition to these bus services, RTA will reintroduce its electric abra service at Global Village. Visitors can enjoy rides on two traditional boats powered by electricity as they glide through the park’s water canal.
Since its inception in 1997, Global Village, renowned for its diverse entertainment, shopping, and global cuisines, has attracted over 100 million visitors. It remains a prime attraction during the UAE’s winter season.
