Dubai Fitness Challenge has unveiled a new feature called Dubai Speed Laps as part of its popular annual event, Dubai Ride. Registration is now open for the main event, which is scheduled for Sunday, November 10, 2024.
Presented by DP World, Dubai Ride invites cyclists of all levels to ride past the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Burj Khalifa and Museum of the Future. Participants can choose between a scenic 12km route along Sheikh Zayed Road or a family-friendly 4km route through Downtown Dubai.
This year introduces the Dubai Speed Laps, a high-speed cycling experience for riders over 21, running from 5am to 6am on the 12km route. Cyclists must maintain a speed of at least 30 km/h to participate.
Registration for Dubai Speed Laps opens on October 14, while registration for Dubai Ride is already available on the official website.
