Dubai Police have announced the waiver of all fines for traffic violations committed by motorists during the recent record rains on April 16. Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, made the announcement on Wednesday.
This decision, reflecting Dubai Police’s commitment to community safety, comes amidst exceptional circumstances. Earlier, Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan, approved various initiatives to mitigate the impact of severe weather in the emirate.
Similarly, Sharjah Police announced the waiver of traffic violation fines and offered free vehicle damage certificates for those affected by the unstable weather.
