Dubai Police traffic patrols have arrested a young man for performing dangerous stunts on a motorcycle without number plates in the Al Khawaneej area, endangering both his life and that of others.
Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, director of the General Department of Traffic, said the incident took place on Sunday evening when patrols noticed the rider driving on one wheel along the Quranic Park walkway. The stunt was described as reckless and posed a serious risk to public safety.
Officers quickly intervened, stopped the rider, seized the motorcycle, and referred the case to the police station for further legal action.
Brigadier bin Suwaidan warned the public against driving without a licence or engaging in reckless acts on the road. He stressed that such violations carry strict penalties, including arrest, vehicle impoundment, and referral to the judiciary.
He also underlined Dubai Police’s zero-tolerance policy toward reckless driving, affirming their commitment to safeguarding all road users.
The official urged community members to cooperate with authorities by reporting unsafe behavior through the “Police Eye” feature on the Dubai Police Smart App or via the “We Are All Police” hotline at 901.
