Dubai Police honour taxi driver for returning Dh1 million worth of valuables

Dubai Police recently honoured an Egyptian taxi driver, Hamada Abu Zeid, for his exemplary honesty after he returned valuable items worth Dh1 million that were left behind in his taxi. Abu Zeid, an employee of Dubai Taxi Corporation, received a certificate of appreciation from Brigadier Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of Al Barsha Police Station.

The police praised his actions, highlighting the importance of community collaboration in maintaining security and promoting integrity within society. Abu Zeid expressed his gratitude, stating that it was his responsibility to ensure the items were returned to their rightful owner.

Dubai Police have consistently recognised residents for their ethical actions. In previous instances, two residents and a young boy were honoured for their cooperation and honesty in returning lost items. The police continue to commend such acts, reinforcing positive values in the community.
