Dubai Police have taken swift action against a young driver caught speeding at a dangerous 304 km/h, putting his life and the safety of other motorists at risk.
A viral video captured the reckless motorist weaving through traffic, dangerously maneuvering between vehicles, and even using the hard shoulder—an area designated for emergencies only.
Authorities have reiterated that such reckless behavior poses a severe threat to public safety. Under Decree No. (30) of 2023 on vehicle impoundment, offenders face strict penalties, including fines of up to Dh50,000 to retrieve an impounded car.
Dubai Police continue to stress the importance of responsible driving and adherence to speed limits. The UAE enforces stringent traffic laws, with speed violators facing fines of up to Dh2,000 and 12 black points.
