Dubai Police has announced that registration is now open for the seventh edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge, which will run from February 7 to 11, 2026. Special police units, rapid-intervention teams, and tactical squads from around the world are invited to sign up through the official website, www.uaeswatchallenge.com.
Brigadier Obaid Mubarak Al Ketbi, Director of the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency for Organization Security Affairs and Chair of the Organising Committee, highlighted the importance of early registration, noting that it allows teams to lock in their participation and fully prepare. He emphasized that the challenge has become “one of the world’s leading tactical competitions for specialist police teams.”
The international event continues to grow in prestige, with the sixth edition securing a Guinness World Record for the highest number of countries represented in a SWAT competition—46 nations and 103 teams in total.
Brigadier Al Ketbi credited the competition’s rise to the leadership of Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, underscoring that the event is designed to encourage knowledge-sharing among global tactical units, highlight best practices, and test preparedness in real-world scenarios.
Participating teams will face five demanding events—Assault, Tactical Operations, Officer Rescue, High Tower, and Obstacle Course. Points will be awarded daily, contributing to the overall title.
The Organising Committee urged police teams worldwide to confirm their entry early and prepare for a high-level test of skill, strength, and strategy.
