Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) reported a disruption in the Metro Red Line services on Wednesday morning, affecting commuters traveling between Al Khail Station and UAE Exchange Station. The service interruption, which started at 6:19 am, significantly impacted the morning rush of office-goers.
The RTA has not provided a specific reason for the delay during the critical peak hours. To manage the inconvenience faced by the commuters, RTA has arranged for alternative bus services to cover the affected route.
In a statement released on the X platform, the RTA addressed the situation: “To Dubai Metro Red line users, RTA informs you that there is a service disruption from Al Khail station to UAE exchange station, alternative buses service has been provided between the affected stations. Thanks for your understanding.”
