Dubai Metro marks 15th anniversary with special passport stamps and Nol card giveaway at airports

Passengers arriving at Dubai’s airports were greeted with a special surprise as their passports were stamped to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Dubai Metro. In addition, 10,000 Nol cards were distributed to mark the occasion, offering travelers easy access to the city’s transportation network.

The initiative, led by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA), in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), highlights the Dubai Metro’s integral role in enhancing urban mobility. Nol cards were distributed at terminals 1 and 3 of Dubai International Airport, ensuring seamless travel between the airport and key destinations across the city.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, emphasized the Dubai Metro’s impact on the city’s transportation landscape. He noted that the metro, now a symbol of the city, aligns with Dubai’s vision of a smart and sustainable future.

In its 15 years of operation, the Dubai Metro has become a vital part of the city’s infrastructure, supporting thousands of daily commuters and contributing to Dubai’s sustainability goals.
