Dubai has been recognized as the world’s most picturesque city for nighttime exploration, according to a recent study by Travelbag. The survey, which evaluated 136 cities based on Instagram activity, environmental brightness, noise pollution, and safety for walking alone at night, placed Dubai at the top for its stunning evening scenery.
The city’s allure after sundown is captured vividly through over 27,387 Instagram posts tagged with ‘#dubaiatnight.’ Visitors like Fozil Rakhimov, a frequent traveler from Uzbekistan, find the view of Sheikh Zayed Road’s skyscrapers and the vibrant Marina waterfront particularly captivating. The reflections of lights on the water from surrounding yachts, restaurants, and apartments enhance the visual spectacle.
Dubai also scored high on safety, ranking fourth worldwide with a score of 83.4 out of 100. The city’s well-lit and well-monitored streets, coupled with strict law enforcement, contribute to a secure environment that encourages nighttime exploration.
