Dubai’s General Directorate for Identity and Foreigners Affairs has introduced a special passport stamp featuring the World Government Summit (WGS) logo, welcoming visitors arriving through the city’s air entry points. This initiative aims to highlight Dubai’s role as a global hub for government innovation and support the 12th edition of the prestigious summit.
The stamp serves as a symbol of the UAE’s commitment to advancing governance and fostering international cooperation. In addition to the stamp, visitors will receive informational cards outlining key themes and objectives of the summit to encourage engagement and awareness.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the Directorate, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the UAE’s efforts to enhance its global reputation and improve government services. “We are committed to supporting national initiatives that reinforce the country’s leadership in innovation, security, and prosperity,” he said.
The World Government Summit is a premier global event that gathers leaders, experts, and decision-makers to discuss the future of governance. By introducing this initiative, the General Directorate continues to play an active role in promoting institutional excellence and contributing to the UAE’s vision for a more sustainable and forward-thinking government.
