Dubai government employees are set to receive their June salaries well in advance, ensuring they have the means to celebrate Eid Al Adha.
On Thursday, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, issued a directive for government staff to be paid on June 13. This early salary disbursement aims to help employees meet their needs for the festival, bringing joy to their families.
UAE residents are expected to enjoy up to five days off for Eid Al Adha, depending on the sighting of the Moon. Saudi Arabia’s Moon-sighting committee will be observing the crescent that marks the start of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. If the Moon is sighted today, Eid Al Adha will commence on June 16. Otherwise, the festival will begin on June 17.
